91ÊÓÆµ College of Health Professions Lienhard School of Nursing welcomed its first cohort of ten enthusiastic HRSA Scholars to the RN4 Nursing Program.

"I chose 91ÊÓÆµ College of Health Professions for a bunch of reasons. The program was a direct admit nursing program and also had a high NCLEX pass rate. That definitely caught my attention when applying to colleges. But what eventually sealed the deal was when I took a tour of 91ÊÓÆµ and learned about the amazing clinical sites and opportunities offered to students. This past July, 91ÊÓÆµâ€™s College of Health Professions appointed its new dean, Marcus Tye. He will succeed Harriet Feldman, who served as dean of the school for over a decade, and was dean and a professor at the Lienhard School of Nursing for over 15 years before that. Tye is a licensed clinical psychologist who previously served as dean of the School of Health Sciences and interim dean of the School of Education at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York. The Business Journal reached out to Tye about his future plans for the school.
Christen Cupples Cooper, EdD, RDN, is founding chair and an assistant professor of nutrition and dietetics in 91ÊÓÆµâ€™s College of Health Professions in Pleasantville wrote an article for Today’s Dietitian.

Heidi Cruz Eustaquio, RN, 91ÊÓÆµ Lienhard School of Nursing graduate has a deep passion for healthcare. A dedicated and hardworking young alumna from the RN4 nursing program on the Pleasantville campus, she is starting her career in Perioperative services with NYU Langone Health.
Kisha Thompson and Shiyon Mathew, students in the PhD in Nursing program, represented 91ÊÓÆµ College of Health Professions at the Digital Innovators inaugural program. This was a collaboration between Apple and the Graduate Student Nursing Society (GNSA) designed to demonstrate how nursing education can be enhanced using technology.
91ÊÓÆµ has appointed Marcus C. Tye, PhD, as dean of its College of Health Professions. The appointment is effective July 1, 2021. Tye, a licensed clinical psychologist, comes to 91ÊÓÆµ having served as dean of the School of Health Sciences and interim dean of the School of Education at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York (CUNY).
