An Interfaith Panel Discussion

Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking conversation exploring the role of religion, faith, and spirituality in mental health and counseling.

This special event will bring together Hindu, Muslim, Catholic, and Jewish religious leaders, alongside mental health counselors, to share perspectives on how spiritual beliefs, religious traditions, and cultural values can influence emotional well-being, coping, healing, and the counseling process.

Topics will include:

  • The relationship between faith, spirituality, and mental health.
  • How counselors can respectfully incorporate clients’ religious and spiritual beliefs into counseling.
  • Cultural sensitivity and religious diversity in clinical practice.
  • Collaborating with religious leaders to support individuals, families, and communities.
  • Reducing stigma surrounding mental health within faith communities.

Who should attend?
