The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ is pleased to announce that Gregory Antill, a criminal law and philosophy scholar, will join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law beginning in Fall 2025. Professor Antill will teach courses in criminal law and tort law while also supervising student scholarship and research projects in the advanced legal writing seminar.

Professor Margot Pollans delivered the James D. Hopkins Memorial Lecture on Monday, April 21, on "." Dean Horace Anderson appointed Professor Pollans as the James D. Hopkins Professor of Law for the 2023–2025 term. During the holder's term, the James D. Hopkins Professor delivers a lecture that is open to the entire law school community and members of the public.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ is pleased to announce that Kate Skolnick, an accomplished public defender and respected criminal law scholar, will join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law beginning in Fall 2025. Professor Skolnick will teach courses in criminal law and criminal procedure, along with an advanced criminal law seminar.

Professor Anthony Moffa delivered the Annual Lloyd K. Garrison Lecture on Environmental Law on Thursday, April 3 on "Back to the Future for Climate Liability." The Lloyd K. Garrison Lecture on Environmental Law was established in memory of Lloyd K. Garrison in 1995. Professor Anthony Moffa currently serves as a Haub Visiting Scholar at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ. He is also a Professor and Associate Dean for Innovation at University of Maine School of Law, where he oversees the Environmental and Oceans Law Certificate Program.

91��Ƶ’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law is once again ranked #1 in the country for Environmental Law by the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings, released today. Haub Law was also ranked #19 in the nation for its trial advocacy program as well as #18 for Dispute Resolution. Several other programs at Haub Law were recognized in the top rankings this year, including International Law, Health Law, Tax Law and the Law School's Part-Time Program.

The Lienhard School of Nursing, part of the College of Health Professions at 91��Ƶ, has received a $206,711 grant from the to lead a three-year initiative aimed at removing barriers for students with physical disabilities in nursing education.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ is pleased to announce that distinguished alumnus New York City Fire Commissioner Robert S. Tucker will deliver the Law School’s commencement address at its 47th Commencement Ceremony, to be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens on May 20. Commissioner Tucker will also receive the Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, the highest honor conferred by the Law School, recognizing his lifelong contributions to public service, public safety, and the legal profession.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ hosted its 30th Annual Law Leadership Dinner at the Westchester Country Club on Thursday, March 28, 2025, celebrating alumni and friends of the Law School whose achievements and support advance the mission of legal education and enrich the broader legal community.
