Thomas “Todd” Gibbons, chief executive officer at BNY Mellon based in New York City, was recently elected to 91��Ƶ’s Board of Trustees. Gibbons earned an MBA from the Lubin School of Business at 91��Ƶ in 1986.

91��Ƶ has appointed Marcus C. Tye, PhD, as dean of its College of Health Professions. The appointment is effective July 1, 2021. Tye, a licensed clinical psychologist, comes to 91��Ƶ having served as dean of the School of Health Sciences and interim dean of the School of Education at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York (CUNY).

As a means of preparing students for a job market of the future and providing responsible businesses with workers and leaders who understand that advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and profitability goes hand-in-hand, 91��Ƶ today announced the launch of the Lubin Center for Sustainable Business (CSB).

91��Ƶ’s College of Health Professions has received a nearly $2 million federal grant to increase opportunities and retention for historically underrepresented minorities in the field of nursing.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ announced today that the 2021 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy will be awarded to Ugandan climate justice advocate Vanessa Nakate and Professor Wang Xi, an environmental law scholar and advocate with Kunming University of Science and Technology in China.

91��Ƶ’s Lubin School of Business is partnering with The Business Council of New York State and The Hudson Renewable Energy Institute to bring together business leaders, environmental experts, and leading voices in the fields of energy, transportation, technology, academia, and government to discuss ways to effectively put New York and its businesses on a path to green energy.
