Moving in to the Residence Halls for Fall and Spring Semesters
All students moving into the residence halls are required to select a move-in appointment prior to arrival. The Housing Operations Staff will send out full details to all students with directions on how to select a move in appointment. Please note that students will be required to complete their Housing Agreement, their Housing Pre-Arrival Form, their Move-In Ready form, AND ensure their student account is in good standing before they will be able to select a move in appointment.
Move in details (and directions for new students regarding selecting a move in appointment) will be sent as follows:
- Fall arrivals - general information about move in will be sent throughout the summer, but formal details of how to select a move in appointment, and what to expect when moving in, will be shared in an email sent in August
- Spring arrivals - details about selecting a move in appointment, and what to expect when moving in, will be shared in an email sent in January
- Spring returning student move in (for students who lived on campus in the fall and are returning from winter break) - an email will be sent in November with move in reminders (note: fall resident students returning from winter break will not need to select a move in appointment prior to arrival)
-
New students, including First Year, Transfer and Graduate students entering 91ÊÓƵ for the first time this semester, are asked to select a move-in appointment on the Primary Move-In Days for their campus. These are:
- Westchester Campus: Saturday, August 29, 2026
- New York City Campus: Friday, August 28 and Saturday August 29, 2026
New undergraduate students who participate in a Virtual Orientation over the summer (and will therefore attend the follow up in-person Orientation workshops prior to the main move in process) will be asked to complete the Early Arrival Request Form (which will be available in MyHousing in the first week of August to students who have met all requirements to select a move in appointment). In that form they should indicate their reason for requesting early arrival is "final on campus orientation".
Unless they are arriving for the final on campus orientation, of they are part of the Honors Pre-Fall program*, the 91ÊÓƵ Academy Pre-Fall program*, or they are part of an athletic team that has pre-fall training*, new students should not plan to arrive before the Primary Move-In Days for their campus as listed above. The date the dining halls will open has not yet been determined for the fall, but dining may not be available for all early arrival dates, and during the early arrival period dining services will be limited. Please also note that move-in support, including security assistance with traffic management and the availability of moving bins and volunteer moving help, will be limited to August 28, 29, and 30.
*students participating in any of these pre-fall program should follow directions provided by their program organizer with respect to planning their arrival.
-
Returning students may select a move-in appointment on the following days (or after). Students who have a need to move in on a specific date but who find no available time slots available should email housing@pace.edu for assistance.
- Friday, August 28, 2026
- Saturday August 29, 2026 - returning students in Pleasantville are asked not to arrive between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on this day if possible (to facilitate new student move in)
- Sunday, August 30, 2026
Unless they are a peer mentor for the Honors Pre-Fall program* or the 91ÊÓƵ Academy Pre-Fall program*, or they are part of an athletic team that has pre-fall training*, returning students should not plan to arrive before the Primary Move-In Days for their campus as listed above.

Students are permitted to select move-in appointments on and after August 31, but please be advised that these students will be required to select a move in appointment between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. when a Resident Assistant staff member is on duty. If arriving on a weekend after August 31, students will be able to select a move in appointment between 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
Students who do not move in by September 15, 2026 are subject to cancellation of their housing assignment, including forfeiture of their housing deposit.
-
While some move-in periods extend into the evening, we will not fully staff the lobbies with check-in staff after 6:00 p.m. Students moving in after 6:00 p.m. will be required to contact the Resident Assistant on duty upon their arrival to check them in.

Students arriving for Spring 2027
Students entering housing for Spring 2027 (who did not live on campus in Fall 2026) should plan to arrive for the spring 2027 term no earlier than Saturday January 23, 2027. Entering students will be permitted to select a move in appointment between 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on January 23, 2027, as long as they meet the following criteria (the status of the following items will be reflected in the Arrival Checklist found on the housing portal for these students):

- They have been cleared by Student Accounts (their account is in good standing) for move-in
Returning Students
The residence halls reopen for returning students (those who lived on campus in the Fall of 2026) on January 24, 2027. Very limited exceptions will be made to allow returning students to the residence any earlier than January 24, 2027, including:

- They have been approved to return early to complete an approved room transfer (this form will be available to returning students by December 1 through MyHousing)
- They are registered for Winter Break Housing
- They have applied for and been approved for an early spring move in. The 2027 Spring Early Move-In Request Form will go live on January 1, 2027. The earliest early arrival date will be January 20, 2027, and students requesting early arrival must arrive between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on their requested days (January 20, 21 or 22).
