Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ professor and civil rights lawyer Professor Randolph McLaughlin spoke to The Sun about Derek Chauvin’s “surprise” guilty plea and its serious ramifications, saying his is appeal “might be withdrawn” and he “has a better chance of avoiding life in prison.”
