Stephanie Desiato is the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Dean for Students. In this role, she is focused on the day-to-day experience, support, and well-being of Haub Law students, working closely with them and overseeing areas including student organizations and events, student resources and support, wellness, and other aspects of student life. Dean Desiato started her career at the Law School in Student Services and spent seven years in that role before teaching and advising students in the Office of Academic Success.

Dean Desiato also serves as Director of Community Engagement and Belonging, where she collaborates on initiatives that strengthen inclusion and foster a strong sense of belonging across the Law School community. In this role, she works closely with student organizations and campus departments to support professional development, promote equitable learning environments, and advance programs that enhance community engagement. She also collaborates with Law School leadership and the University鈥檚 Division of Opportunity and Institutional Excellence to help strengthen policies, procedures, and initiatives that support all members of the community. She serves as a member of the Gosin Center鈥檚 Advisory Board.

Drawing on her experience in academic success and student support, Dean Desiato co-authored the book and has presented at numerous national conferences, including those of the Association of Academic Success Educators. She has also been recognized by the Association of Academic Success Educators for her work in student support.

Dean Desiato is a graduate of Haub Law, and while she was a student, she served as President of the Student Bar Association, Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, and a Dean鈥檚 Scholar in the Academic Success Program. She also represented Haub Law in several mock trial competitions at the regional and national level and has coached teams for client counseling and arbitration competitions. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.
