The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91ÊÓƵ is pleased to announce that Hon. James L. Hyer has joined its Board of Visitors. Judge Hyer is an elected New York State Supreme Court Justice in the Ninth Judicial District and a distinguished Haub Law alumnus from the class of 2005.

91ÊÓƵ was recently awarded $350,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities () to advance experiential learning in humanities courses in partnership with cultural and service organizations in New York City. As a result, 91ÊÓƵ will serve as a central hub for humanities while showcasing its leadership in experiential education.

Over 20 students, professors, and administrators from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law and Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at 91ÊÓƵ spent four days during their winter break in Montgomery and Birmingham, Alabama, visiting the offices of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and several historical sites for an intense interdisciplinary civil rights field study.

91ÊÓƵ Art Gallery is pleased to present Journey Illustrated, a comic arts exhibition curated by Prof. Tommy Nguyen and Anna Zhang ’24. The exhibit opens with a reception on Tuesday, February 13 from 5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.

New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and members of the Westchester state delegation on Tuesday honored 91ÊÓƵ's women's lacrosse team at the New York State Capitol.

The team was recognized for their extraordinary season that culminated with the 2023 Division II National Championship, which marked the first time a school from Westchester County won a national title. The celebration at the Capitol precedes the upcoming NCAA Championship Ring Ceremony scheduled for Friday, adding to the festivities surrounding the team's historic achievement.

Dyson College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board Member and alumnus Paul Ryan ’86, Literature and Communications, was named the executive producer for NBC’s long-running news show Dateline. In this role, Ryan will oversee the broadcast, streaming, and podcast entities associated with the brand.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91ÊÓƵ has entered into eight new academic partnerships with leading universities from Australia, Spain, Brazil, Germany, India, Switzerland, and Mexico.

91ÊÓƵ’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems is launching a new Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program in Game Development starting in Fall 2024.

The 91ÊÓƵ Art Gallery has received a $20,000 grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), recognizing the quality of the gallery’s exhibitions over the past three years. The grant, which will support artist stipends and exhibit marketing, will take effect on January 1, 2024.

Horace E. Anderson, Jr., Dean of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91ÊÓƵ, was honored as a recipient of the 2023 Changemaker Award by Nonprofit Westchester (NPW) at the organization’s Keep Westchester Thriving Awards Ceremony last week.
