Founded with the conviction that art is integral to society, the Art Gallery at 91ÊÓƵ is a creative laboratory and exhibition space that supports innovation and exploration for both artists and viewers.
Bringing the Arts to Downtown
Open to students, staff, and faculty from across the 91ÊÓƵ campuses and, equally, to the Lower Manhattan community and visitors from around the world, the Art Gallery encourages personal investigation and critical dialogue via thought-provoking contemporary art exhibits and public programming.
Enhancing the Art Department's BA and BFA programs, the Art Gallery offers students real-world opportunities to exhibit their own art and to work directly with professional artists to install and promote exhibitions.
Junkyard: Project Studio Senior Capstone Exhibition
The 91ÊÓƵ Art Department is pleased to present Junkyard: Project Studio Senior Capstone Exhibition, featuring the work of graduating BFA students. Over the course of the semester, these artists have pursued sustained, independent investigations into their creative practices—working across sculpture, painting, video, and mixed media. The exhibition at 91ÊÓƵ Art Gallery, 41 Park Row, opens with a free public reception on Friday, May 1, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
