Elisabeth Haub School of Law Professors Narinder Kakar and Nicholas Robinson, along with Dr. Vesselin Popovski, Jindal University, recently published a book that they co-authored together titled, Fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals: On a Quest for a Sustainable World. They came together, along with contributing authors Professors Joseph Morreale and Anna Shostya, and 91��Ƶ President Marvin Krislov to discuss the book in the timely context of the recent COP26 climate change conference.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law has established a Food Pantry program on campus available to students and their families who need food assistance.

“Sanitation Celebration,” an exhibit featuring art created by New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) employees, opened with a public reception on November 14. Together, the Sanitation Foundation, the official nonprofit of DSNY, and 91��Ƶ Art Gallery are pleased to present this in-person art exhibit sponsored by Mack Trucks.

The innovative program expands access to vital legal education for healthcare professionals in a post-pandemic era.

The $499,354, five-year award will allow to continue expanding the BEDE (Biological and Environmental Data Education) Network, with the aim of establishing a diverse, wide-reaching community of college instructors “trained in integrating data science skills across introductory biology and environmental science curricula.”

91��Ƶ is among a small number of schools to receive grant funding from the New York State Department of Education to increase diversity within the teaching profession throughout New York.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ has conferred the 2020–2021 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy on Ugandan climate justice advocate Vanessa Nakate and Professor Wang Xi, an environmental law scholar and advocate with Kunming University of Science and Technology in China.

91��Ƶ is adding an advanced degree to its offerings --- a new doctoral program in School Psychology on its New York City campus. The Department of Psychology launched the program this fall, in part, to meet the growing demand for school psychologists.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 91��Ƶ has received a generous five-year grant to name its Investor Rights Clinic after RealFi Financial LLC, a leading, technology-driven, alternative investment management firm.
