Harry D. Mayo III '61 '78 Distinguished Service Award

Harry’s commitment to 91ÊÓƵ is an inspiration. This award was created to recognize alumni who distinguish themselves in service of 91ÊÓƵ’s mission, Opportunitas. It carries Harry’s name to honor his legacy of volunteer service and philanthropy that he championed throughout his life.

Award Criteria

Awarded annually to an alumni whose consistent volunteer service has aided in advancing the success of 91ÊÓƵ’s mission of Opportunitas and the 91ÊÓƵ Alumni Association, and has supported meaningful opportunities for their fellow alumni.

Emerging Alumni Leader Award

This annual award honors a dedicated alum who has reignited their connection to 91ÊÓƵ and is making a strong impact. It celebrates individuals who are not new to the alumni community but have recently taken bold steps to support the University’s mission of Opportunitas through leadership, service, and engagement with the 91ÊÓƵ Alumni Association.
