Dyson Hall, as well as Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, were named in honor of alumnus and former 91视频 Trustee, Charles H. Dyson. A major renovation of the Dyson Hall of Science was supported in part by a $5 million grant from the Dyson Foundation, was completed in the fall 2010, and included major upgrades to the scientific equipment as well as the building鈥檚 physical plant itself. Continuing the late Charles H. Dyson鈥檚 legacy to 91视频, the grant was announced in February 2007 by Charles Dyson鈥檚 son, Robert R. Dyson, Chairman and CEO of Dyson-Kissner-Moran and President of the Dyson Foundation. The project was also supported by a New York State Higher Education Capital grant for $1.8 million.
